Why Not Enough Butter?
For some reason my little kids all seem to have a fetish for butter. This started with Aliya (now 7) then Silas (now 5) and now Kaydence has taken over the role of butter stealer!!
Often I would find the kids behind the couch or table or curtain even, dipping their paws into the butter!!!
Don't ask me why, because I didn't even like butter til I was around my early 20's, and even now only like a light spread on my bread!
SO there you have it :)

Xmas Trees :)
My sister in law is already putting up her xmas tree!! Not even mid November!! lol!! I totally love her enthusiasm for xmas as I love xmas too!!
She has even gone out and bought a brand new tree this year :) I just wanted to share with her my beautiful tree from last year
This was the 1st year that I have ever had a child constantly 'attack' my tree!! Yes that would be baby number 5 Kaydence!! I'm hoping that this years tree will be 'left alone' or I will be investing in a playpen! Yes for the tree!! lol!!

Cravings....
So the other day I have cravings for bananas and finally caved in and bought 2, one for me and one for Kaydence, as she was the only big kid I had with me that day. They cost me $4.20. It would have been cheaper to buy a block of chocolate! lol!!
Its been awhile since I bought banana's due to the price, and Kaydence had forgotten how to eat them!! She took a bite out of the banana before I had a chance to peel it!! Silly monkey girl!!
As you can see she was not impressed at having to pose for photos while enjoying her banana!
And how did I like my banana?? Well the one and only bite that I managed to sneak was delish! Of course Kaydence just had to eat mine as well!

Growing Up.....
My baby girl sure is growing up quick!! Here she is at 2 mths, totally immobile, cute as a button practising her smiles.
Now she is walking a bit here and there, discovering that she can open cupboards and draws, and finding that if she uses her vocal cords everyone will come running to be at her beck and call.
This Christmas that poor tree will not be looking so cute as she discovers those shiny baubles........

Kaydence is off to get her 6mth needles......
A old picture but a goodie! This used to be her favourite sleeping position, sung in Daddy's arm!! She is now too big to sit comfortably and sleep like that now!
We're only a few months late cause she kept getting a cold when we were scheduled to go in to the doctors!! So wish us luck! Hopefully she won't get too upset......

My Daughters Livia and Aliya
I luv this photo! How fun are my girls :) They are both very smart and are performing above their year level in school.
Aliya (6) is the crazy one :) Always full of energy, silly, loud, outrageous, and oh so loveable. She loves a cuddle and a smooch! Ali is in grade 1B this year and luv, luv, luvs to learn! She is the teachers pet :) I'm hoping she applies herself to learning and continues to do the best she can! Ali luvs to sing, she is always singing, so much that we have to shush her all the time!! Ali is patiently waiting until grade 3 so she can join the choir :)
Livia (9) is always keen to help :) She luvs joking around and has some mean 'Yo mumma jokes'. Another teachers pet. Liv is in grade 5C this year. She luvs to learn new things and is constantly being rewarded at school for her hard work. This term at school she is learning the flute, sings in junior choir, plays flute in junior band, is Music Captain for junior choir, has been nominated for an academic award for the term 1 and was anomalously nominated for Young Star Awards through the Quest Newspapers (to the someone at the school who nominated her - Thank you!)
But being girls they clash something fierce! I always wanted to have a sister growing up (I have 2 younger brothers, Trevor and Jason), but now I thank my lucky stars I didn't lol!!!! I can only imagine how it will be in a few years time when Kaydence (5mths) can add her 2 cents worth! OMG!! and 3 teenage daughters! *shudders!! Mike always jokes he'll be out fishing with the boys all the time hehehehe!!
Luv u my darling daughters!!! Mwah!!! oxoxoxox

Big sister, little sister :)
I couldn't help but take a photo of this sweet moment when Livia was playing her DS with Kadee having a gander. Retreating to our king size bed to hang out amongst the cushions is a favourite with the kiddies :)
Its times like this that makes me want to add to my large family, I'm a very lucky mumma to have such beautiful children :)

My youngest darling daughter Kaydence
Now that Kaydence can roll ova this is what she likes to do best, sleep on her belly! She is my 5th child and 3rd daughter. I could not imagine life without her! Kaydence is 4 mths old here! She was born on the 15th October 2009 @ 3.27pm weighing in at 3190g, head circumference 35.5cm and length 51cm :) PERFECT!
She is adored by everyone, even by big brother Callum (10) who declared when we announced the pregnancy "Argh! Not another cry baby!!". Typical boys! lol! But when it comes down to it, Callum was the first one to come rushing in to the hospital room to snatch her from me for first cuddles!! We actually had to tell him to settle down and wait a moment for me to say hi to everyone as it had only been a few hours since my caesarean!! I think he likes the idea of having a sister who doesn't annoying him! lol!
Its sad to think that when Callum leaves home Kaydee will only be 8 or so and they won't be 'growing up' with each other as such. I can't believe that I have a 10 yr age gap between my eldest and youngest child! Mind boggling!
I'm not religious in any way and it had taken me a good many years to realise that children are a blessing, and that no one should ever forget that!
