Baby #7 - 28 weeks :)

pregnancy calendar

pregnancy calendar

Here I was thinking that this pregnancy is dragging along and find out that its been 8 wks since I did my last pregnancy post! 8 wks has gone by fast and in a boring sort of way, there is nothing too exciting to report! But when it comes to pregnancy, boring is good!!

So how have things been? Well good considering this is my 7th pregnancy and 3rd in a row, but I have to admit that this time around I'm really feeling physically tired! I am rocking the heavy, big belly, duck waddle pregnancy style!

In an effort to try to pick up my energy levels a bit, I'm starting up juicing and adding wheat grass power to my juice! Inspired by a few others out there, some pregnant, some not who are also trying juicing and green smoothies to improve their overall health and energy levels!

This week I have my glucose test and at my last appointment everything seemed well with bubs, great heart rate and measuring to dates.

I've started to move Braiths clothes out of the change table (where I keep the newest baby's clothes) in preparation for setting up for this bubba! I've been so busy that I've not thought too much about organising for this baby, but luckily I still have 12 wks to go, and most of the newborn baby stuff is on hand.

We also pretty much have a name picked for this little man, I love love love the name, Mike is still not 100% in love with it, doesn't hate it, but can't come up with something else he really loves either. I suggested that he should start using the name a bit and see how it fits then.....

Its soooooo hard picking a name! Especially as its our 4th (Mike's 5th) boy!! lol! and boys names are hard enough to pick as it is!

Baby #7 - 20 weeks :)

pregnancy calendar

pregnancy

Well its xmas eve here and though I'm busy with the xmas lunch prep, I thought I would drop in here and update with the exciting news that we are expecting another little.........

BOY

while I'm lucky to have a good mix of both boys and girls I am very excited about having 2 little boys in a row to share growing up close in age together :) I've had boy, girl, girl (but a 4 yr gap) then boy, girl, boy and now boy :)

Now comes the tricky part of choosing a name to 'go' with our other names!! Eek!

Oh and this little man looks like he might be another little porker, already measuring 2 wks ahead of his dates!! I'm hoping he doesn't end up as big as Silas who was 10 pound 12 ounces!!!

Now I just have to wait til the 4th of January to find out when the doc's want to schedule my c/s :)

Baby #7 - 14 weeks :)

pregnancy calendar

pregnant

14 weeks :) and apart from getting my feet kicked out under me but this flu for the last week, everything has been going well :)

Just the usual weight gain, but not too much in the way of aches and pains (yet). I'll be getting my scan soon so it will be nice to see the baby again, and I've gotten my hospital referral letter back for my initial appt, at 6.45pm!! What the?? At least Mike will be home to watch the kids for this appt as at the initial one they like to really go through the birth history, I think it took a good hr last time I had a initial appt!! (and I even took in my baby books as I wasn't sure if my memory would keep up with them all!) lol!

Baby #7 - 10 weeks and 4 days

pregnancy

pregnancy calendar

Yes I said weeks and days cause it makes a pregnancy go quicker?!? lol!

But seriously, this pregnancy is something I have to keep reminding myself about cause I feel pretty good! I've already gained 3kgs eek! so I really need to get my butt into gear and start my exercising again! and my belly looks like I'm 6-8 mths pregnant! cause that is just how my pregnancies seem to be...

But I do like the relaxed 'pace' pregnancy #7 is heading, no stressing about baby clothes or items (we already have what we need), no extra wishing or hoping on a particular sex (cause we are already blessed with a good mix of boys and girls)and health wise everything is ok :)

The panic of baby names hasn't kicked in yet, but you will surely know about it when it does as found it hard picking a boys names last time around!!

Fingers crossed everything stays well for the rest of my pregnancy!

Jellybean Update

Today I went for follow up blood tests and also a scan since my bleeding has now stopped.

And the good news is 'We're still pregnant!' :) A good normal heart beat was found and a EDD will be 15th of May 2012. (Because I have c/s I'm guessing I'll be booked late April).

I'm relieved that now I can start making plans for our family and look forward to this little ones arrival!

So let the count down begin!! I'm hoping the pregnancy itself won't drag along since we found out this early, but I figure I'll be so busy with the daily grind of getting things done that it will fly on ever too quickly!!

Jellybean Update

Well it seems Jellybean is still with us. I know that the test will show positive up to a week after a miscarriage but I'm choosing to be optimistic on this one. My bleeding is easing up, but then when I think it will be ok, I'll find that I'm still bleeding.

I went back to the doctors last week who informed me that the hormone levels matched my scan results of 5 weeks (which is a good thing), but my dates were not what I was expecting, but with my cycle being so up and down I guess I shouldn't be surprised!

It was recommended that I wait a couple of weeks then get another blood test and scan to see how things are. So fingers crossed this little Jellybean wants to still be with us.....

20 weeks baby number 6

We are halfway!! YAY!!! Well perhaps even further then halfway considering we will be booked for a c/s at least a week before the due date of 19th of February 2010.

We had our scan today. All went well, with baby measuring just 5 days ahead of dates. There was a 3 hr wait for the scans so will have to pick them up tomorrow, then I can sticky beak at the report to check if everything is all going well.

And we are having a BOY :) !!!!!!!

But gosh, its going to be a challenge to come up with a awesum boys name to match the other awesum names our kids already have!!! Even reading up on baby name sites is not giving us any ideas. The only thing we are sure on is that we don't want to repeat the same initials, J, C, L, A, S or K............Should be easy peasy............

As for me??? Still going ok, feeling quiet well considering this is pregnancy number 6. I was worried that pregnancy would get harder each time, but being pregnant with Kaydence and now this time has been the easiest (so far, touch wood).

But I have to admit that I'm starting to 'feel' pregnant. Waddling a bit, getting really round and starting to get puffed if I try to exert myself too much! So slack with my fitness this time round!! Trying not to put on too much weight either, but I really hate to 'watch' what I'm eating when pregnant, I mean if I can't be free and eat what I want now, when would I ever get the 'perfect' excuse to gain a few extra kgs???

Oh and a quick reminder to self, pickles and prunes are not a tasty combo at 11pm!!!!

12 wks

Well baby #6 is at 12 wks :) I'm loving the stage I am atm. Not feeling sick and if Kadee was sleeping at night, I wouldn't be tired either :) Its a nice feeling to cast my mind into the future, and start planning this little ones arrival :)

We are stuck on names though! With such great names already used for the other kids, we're finding it a challenge to find another great name that will fit..........I think that the challenge may be easier when we find out what we are having.

I know too well how fast pregnancy passes and I want to enjoy every last minute of it, as I could very well be my last. Being pregnant with Kadee (#5) was one of my easiest and I'm hoping that this one will be similar. Totally not looking forward to the c/s, this will be #4 and they don't get easier, but I must admit that a scheduled c/s is much more pleasant then an emergency one :)

I can't wait to go for my next scan in perhaps 4-6 wks time :)
